Stalled hpoo spawning/colonization

My 2 18 gallon monotubs have stalled before completely colonizing, and I need to know what to do. I put them in there about 2 weeks ago, and at first they seemed to going alright, but for the past week about, not much progress.
I can't tell if its not wet enough, or it if its too wet or what. Temp has usually been 77-82 degrees inside the tub (the air inside the tub) slightly warmer outside of the tubs. theres plenty of condensation on the sides, and i don't notice any horrid smells or anything. They are in monotubs with the appropriate holes in the side, stuffed with polyfil, underneath a black comforter.
Here are pictures of the further along one.

This is doing much better than the other spawning, but it is stalled as well.
Is there anything specific I can do? Should I put a casing layer on this as is? take the black blanket off to allow a little more air exhange? Should i re-stir up the substrate? please help thanks.

Have you had them in the dark in a trash bag for 5 days no peak?

yeah your tub looks like it is clear you have to make sure it's in total darkness for it to colonize

no, the tub is not clear, it is solid gray plastic. And on top of that, they have been completely covered in a thick black bedspread, so i don't think darkness is an issue. They were in this state for 5 days before peaking, and when I peaked on the first one (not shown) there was some cobweb growing, so i sprayed with H2O2/water, and checked up on it the next few days. The other tub (pictured) was also not peaked until after 5 days, and it had made good progress.
Its been another week since then, and it seems like not much progress has taken place. Is there any way for me to check the moisture level, to see whether its too low, or too high at this point? I followed the field capacity estimates of squeezing and having a few drops come out, so it shouldn't be too far off. The only thing i can think of that might be an obvious hold up is heat, in that the air inside the tub is around 83 degrees, which might mean the poo itself is much hotter? This is hopefully not a detrimental temperature, because I don't have it in a incubater, thats just how fucking hot my room gets =[.
before I checked it today and took that photo, it has been in complete darkness in the 77-83 temp range, unopened for 3 days. it seems like there should have been at least SOME new growth.
I'm thinking about re-stirring up the substrate to see if its really wet on the bottom or what, and to let it mix around some more. Is this a good idea or a bad idea?

i personally wouldn't mix it. but there's 1 spot on the left sides of those photos that looks like a yellow blob on a chuck of mycellium...looks kinda suspicious to me, especially after you said there was cobweb in your other tub.
and as for the comment on total darkness to colonize, that's just poppycock

so everyone here thinks that mixing it back up would do nothing, and I just need to let it go longer? theres nothing I can do to see if its not moist enough, or if its too wet?
I don't think that yellow spot you're seeing is a contam, and anyway, if it was a contam, wouldn't I see it start taking over pretty quickly?
