My GF grampa just got a truck load of 6 year old horse manure.

Is that to old or still useable?

If it has been sitting in a wet, unturned pile and has composted to the texture of black soil: NO

If it was properly aged, fibrous texture, and stored bone dry: YES, probably.

I just used 1.5 year old manure stored in a bag, it fired right up as the day I bagged.
