Anybody read it yet?
It's by the guy who did Breaking Open the Head, which I know a lot of people here have read.
I was reading a few chapters of it at the bookstore a few days ago, it was damn good.
I would have bought it, but I'm waiting for it to go into paperback.

If the world ends in 2012, I will be pissed for having been put in this stupid little generational stint with high hopes just so everything could cut out right when shit was getting interesting.
That's why I dislike this theory.

I'm reading this book right now! I'm somewhere in Part 3, where he starts talking about alien abductions. This book is really really good. I highly recommend it. It dips into EVERYTHING and basically ties a whole bunch of cultural, philosophical, religious, and mystical loose ends into one theory. It's an excellent synopsis of the 2012 phenomenon.

Finally, a relevant post. Thank you.
And he's right, it talks about ALOT of stuff. From psychedelics to UFOs, to crop circles, etc.

I can't fault McKenna for being interesting, but frankly I find him kind of full of shit.

Don't I feel fuckin' stupid.
I just assumed it was McKenna because I saw 2012...forget it's a pretty common Aztec thing.
