I found these old almost fully dried up in the grass outside on the lawn earlier today. there were 2 small patches of them, both of them mostly dry, as its been sunny for the last week and a half or so. I am in tacoma washington.
cap sizes range from .75" to 1.5" they range from about .25" to almost .5" cap thickness. the gills are wavy and the margins are curling inward. the gills do not attach to the stem. the stems range about 3" in size. I cant take a sporeprint since they are already mostly dry. the stems appear to be hollow with a very tiny hole in the middle, of course the stems are already partially dessicated. they smell 'mushroomy' like oyster mushrooms from the store and like other mushrooms i have eaten
I hope this info and these pictures are enough to identify this by, since they are already mostly dry, its hard to know how its look has changed, and i cant test for brusing or spore prints either.

thanks for any help everyone, I hope Ive included enough info to find out more.

i dont really mind if they are active or not, I am just curious. I recently moved to washington, and have heard the active ones grow all over, so im trying to learn what various ones that I find are. So, active or not, can anyone name these for me? hopefully in the fall Ill get lucky with the 'good' ones. Thanks for your help.

Sorry .. Unfortunately the best season in the PNW is Fall on into Winter if its a mild one.. Summer time in the PNW is Morel season..
The mushrooms you have listed are way far gone and rather hard to ID..
IMO you can also tell the spoor was a rusty brown as seen on the edges of the gills on the closer photos.. I will also add that you took some good close up pics...

I didnt realise my first fall here that this state is such a great place for mycology. Im sure those mushrooms will be back again in a fresher form that would make for better IDing. Thanks for the help anyways!
