Cobweb on fully colonized cakes after dunking? is it possible?
    #5656167 - 05/21/06 12:43 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

Dunked my PF Cakes in a Karo water mix after the second flush and let them sit in the FC for a few days. The third flush is coming in now, but they've gotten fairly fuzzy. Some areas seem covered by a more grey-ish, cotton candy looking fuzz. I've been giving them peroxide sprays for the past two days, seems to be helping somewhat.

Is it even possible for this to happen??

Never dunk cakes in a nutrient solution. I'd take it to the kitchen faucet and wash it off really well. That should remove the cobweb. After that, use peroxide if it comes back.
