just wondering. i just bought one of these and i was wondering if i could use it to smoke cheaper salvia extracts more easily or use it to smoke some of my impure dmt i got out of an extraction. basically just seeing what other people have had luck using their vaporizors for, besides weed.

Oh I'm sure the salvia would work and I bet it would be awesome.
Not sure about the DMT, don't really do that stuff.
How is the vaporbrothers working tho, I'm debating between that one and the 600 dollar volcano but 400 bucks is a HUGE difference if there going to do the same thing.

The vaporbrothers is AMAZING! If not for the ceramic heating element I easily would have had sex with it... Both out of love and appreciation.
I've never used the volcano myself, but the vaporbrother's has gotten complements from many people who HAVE used the volcano, one of which who specifically said they preffer it to the volcano. If this is true then I'm assuming that most of the volcano's price is because it's hand made in Germany (not sure if all vaporizers are hand made). Either way, you wont be disappointed with the vapor brothers. All you need is a couple slow hits to completely knock you out and kill all desire to smoke more. Deffinitely a good buy IMO (and it comes with a free grinder and some stir sticks which make amazing pokeys)
Sorry, I don't really know how it would handle salvia or DMT. I didn't like how it handled tobacco (mostly cause of sharp taste) but the way I see it, heat is heat whether it's from a vapor brothers or a volcano. And the vaporbrothers gets pretty hot so if it works in the volcano I'm pretty sure it would work with the vaporbrothers

I have used a Vapor Bros and a Volcano. Here's the difference:
The vapor brothers depends on airflow generated by your lungs to draw the hot air through the herb. Thus, you have to sustain your draw for a few seconds before the herb gets hot enough to vaporize. The device is designed to put resistance on your breath so you can sustain the inhale longer.
The volcano uses a fan to push hot air through the herb. Once it fills up the bag, you suck the vapor out of the bag with no resistance whatsoever, and the vapor starts entering your lungs the moment you begin to inhale. The vapor will be thicker and more potent.
Get a Vapor Brothers if you want to make your herb last longer and have more control over the potency of your hits.
Get a Volcano if you want to get ripped fast.
