has anyone heard voices while tripping? last night i kept hearing voices then when i would snap out of the trance i was in their were coinsiding bird chirps. Are the voices a misinturpitaion of animals sounds? is this why the natives believed they were able to comunicate with animals and nature? or is it actually nature talking to us telling us whats subconscious and what we need to change in our lives so we can be happy ? ha ha ha

i don't know if it's the "voice of nature" but i've definitely heard some distinct voices.. both male and female.. and sometimes something completely alien altogether.
especially with psilocybe.. i don't really hear voices even with high doses of lsd..

I've only heard voices on salvia, but those were unmistakeable. I'm not sure if we can hear nature, but plants can definitely hear us, check out the book "the secret life of plants" it will really blow your mind, it's more facts and scientific studies than theory, so its kind of dry but well worth your time.

I've heard voices on shrooms and while very drunk after smoking some good sativa. The voices are usually recognizable and randomly repeat things I've heard that person say in the past. Sometimes it's interesting, sometimes it's fragments of sentences that don't really make sense out of context. The time I was drunk though it was just constantly voices of friends laughing or saying random things, sometimes just repeating words like "drugged" over and over again. The time on shrooms was a little more 'disturbing' though as the voices seemed more harsh and were saying things like "dumbass" and "shut up" accompanied by images projected on the ceiling.

for sure. i believe there is more to psilocybe-induced voice phenomena than internal processes. the "other", whoever that may be, is encountered and sometimes chooses to articulate itself in a very concrete way.
that's not to say that internal processes aren't responsible for much of the voices heard in any experience.. but when you hear the voice of the "other" it's unmistakable IMO.

Has anyone experienced the same voices I do? I can't understand them, but I feel a strange empathy for them. Many times they express huge and contradictory emotions at a time (e.g. unstoppable wrath and overwhelming joy). They are both male and fem, they talk to each other and to me. The strange thing is that I get them with shrooms, ket, through meditation and sometimes with that reality detachment while being half-awake at morning.

Was the voice in your head or did you open up a doorway? Many things to think about...

In some way they are in my head (I KNOW they are produced in my head), but I sense them to be very far away, not distorted by distance or obstacles though. I can't be more precise.

Sounds like channeling to me; yet i have no idea why it is most often birds that use this line of communication.

Ive not heard voices, but definitely music. The music does contain lyrics which i cant make out. It often serves as indicator cuz if trip begins to go bad the music gets louder. I would expect this to happen if I were musically inept, however i can so much as keep a beet.
