Why did this happen?

Two of my cakes, after their first flush, were attacked by green tricoderma. When I cut into the cake, I found several pockets that seemed to be uncolonized, and these were the food supply of the mold. Why did this happen? The cakes appeared to be colonized on the outside, and during fruiting showed no sign of contamination. I am very sad about this.

After they appear to be fully colonized its best to give them about another week just to make sure the insides are fully colonized also... Try this next time and see if their is an improvement..
