Ya, that was pretty damn funny. Might even be pretty damn surreal while tripping.

My advise is to do it in a place you're comfortable with and around people you're comfortable with. As much as there is an urge to do adventurous and dangerous things, try to stay as safe as possible. The only thing that will ruin your trip is negative situations like someone getting hurt or something.
Music...any music you like, you'll like 10 times more. After my first trip i put all my other goals on hold and got seriously into music. i started playing instruments, quit my job, and started a band.
Oh...and have fun!! Its pretty hard not to when hangin' with Cid.

Thats funny.... same exact thing happened to me. Sure I could play a few simple solos and knew how to play most chords. Tripping definately opened a whole new world of music to me as a musician.

TOTALLY! Before, i just goofed around, making noise like a child, but after that trip it was like i really wanted to learn all about it. i had heard, of course, about the concept of psychedelia in music, but never understood at all. That night of my first trip my friend and i put on some Mazzy Star, it was the first music i ever hear tripping. My jaw dropped. i sat on the edge of the bed staring into what should have been empty space, but all these great patterns and designs were coming off the speakers of my stereo.

I dont think I would have been able to hold my own with jerry garcia after a half of a year of playing seriously if it were not for hallucinogens. It just seemed to allow me to use creativity in a different way. Music(like you said) became visual. I have not seen music the same ever after. After way more than a hundred trips, music just became a part of me. I can compose classical music in my head anytime. Improvisational music is a big part of my life. Im not so sure Id be the fusion-jazz type musician I am totay if it were not for hallucinogens. It helped me to hear the sounds in my head, and it helped me to play them as well. Same goes for song writing.

LSD completely changed every thing about my life. Open doors in your mind you never thought would open, moments of clarity that are almost sobering. Be careful, you can really fuck yourself up as well. Make sure to plan carefully to avoid bad events, don't try and be around people who are tripping, it will really fuck up every thing. Be some where you can feel ok with, try to stay away from "unenlightened" people. Don't stress about any thing before hand, don't worry about wasting your trip, get yourself mentally ready be in good spirits. For a first trip just go with the flow and every thing plays into the next. I always preferred dropping in the evening watching the sunset then playing in the night, the next morning is an awakening of the mind and soul you're reborn into a new world and every thing is different from there on out. I never was a indoor tripper I love nature and find it to be the most rewarding environment for myself. Good luck and have fun.
Just a added point, greatest song I ever heard while tripping was Led Zepplin's Ten Years Gone, I can't even discribe how I felt when I heard it and to try would do it injustice.
