Meeting famous composers in real life
    #5652807 - 05/20/06 10:10 AM (17 years, 10 months ago)

Composers as in Re Incarnated people who live on the planet now…

I met Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Mozart and Vivaldi. I really want to meet up with Bach.

By the way at least one of the above composers is a member on this forum. What I wonna do I get them all together and have a composer bash.

"I really want to meet up with Bach."
Hows it going?

Try the Brandenburg Concertos. They are light classical and very tuneful. Bach is really quite focused ...it has a very disciplined sound. I think you would like it. Try the Allegro in the Brandenburg Concerto number 5. The harpsichord solo is almost psychedelic. If LSD had been around Bach would have been an acid freak.

I prefer Jagger.

I hear a preacher on the corner
Ranting like a crazy man
He says there's trouble, troubles are coming
I can read it like the back of my hand

I see love, I see misery
Jamming side by side on the stage
In the wind some mournful melody
I can read it like the back of my hand

The back of my hand..... Oh yeah

Oh yeah....

I see dreams, I see visions
Images I don't understand
I see Goya's paranoias
I can read it like the back of my hand

Well, read it like the back of my hand
Oh yeah, wow yeah
Wow yeah
Read it like the back of my hand

Yes, but to never try new things is to be in a prison created by the past.

OR

Joy
Oh joy love you bring
Oh joy make my heart sing

And I drove across the desert
I was in my four wheel drive
I was looking for the Buddha
And I saw Jesus Christ

He smiled and shrugged his shoulder
And lit a cigarette
Said jump for joy
Make some noise
Remember what I said

My soul is a like a ruby
And I threw it in the earth
But now my hands are bleeding
From scrabbling in the dirt
And I look up to the heavens
And a light is on my face
I never never never
Thought I'd find a state of grace

Hey joy
Love you bring
Oh joy
Make my heart sing
Oh joy
Joy in everything

Joy joy joy oh joy
Joy joy joy oh joy

I was drowning in the darkness
As I drove down to the sea

Joy joy joy oh joy

And I looked up to the mountain
And the light burst over me
Joy joy joy oh oh joy

You make me sing
Joy [cont]

Oh joy
The love you bring
You make me sing
Oh joy
In everything
In everything
Everything

Jump for joy
Jump for joy
Jump for joy

or

Goddess In The Doorway
Demons in the bedroom
Dogs are on the roof
I am in the basement
Looking for the truth

Tired of being patient
For the voice to come
If you want the answer
There is only one - only one

Her flesh is smooth and supple
And velvet as the night
Her eyes are shot with diamonds
A mouth full of delight

There's a goddess in the doorway
Asking how much can I take
And it looks like she's heading my way
There's a goddess in the doorway

Demons in the bedroom
Dogs are on the loose
Driving in the backstreets
Looking for the truth

I'm searching for your temple
Hunting for your shrine
I'm looking for a vision
By a neon sign

There's a goddess in the doorway
Asking how much can I take
And it looks like she's heading my way
There's a goddess in the doorway

And her tears flow like a fountain
Like a river from the mountain

How much
How much can I take
How much, how much can I take

Goodess in the doorway [cont]

There's a goddess in the doorway
Asking how much can I take
And it looks like she's heading my way
There's a goddess in the doorway

(lake)
just take a pebble and cast it to the sea,
then watch the ripples that unfold into me,
my face spill so gently into your eyes,
disturbing the waters of our lives.

shread of our memories are lying on your grass;
wounded words of laughter are graveyards of the past.
photographs are grey and torn, scattered in your fields
letters of your mem'ries are not real.

sadness on your shoulders like a wornout overcoat
in pockets creased and tattered hang the rags of your hope.
the daybreak is your midnight; the colours have all died.
disturbing the waters of our lives, of our lives, of our lives, lives,
lives, lives...
of our lives.

I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering
Where it will go
I'm filling the cracks that ran through the door
And kept my mind from wandering
Where it will go
And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong I'm right
Where I belong I'm right
Where I belong.
See the people standing there who disagree and never win
And wonder why they don't get in my door
I'm painting my room in the colourful way
And when my mind is wandering
There I will go
And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong I'm right
Where I belong I'm right
Where I belong.
Silly people run around they worry me
And never ask me why they don't get past my door
I'm taking the time for a number of things
That weren't important yesterday
And I still go
I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering
Where it will go

(mussorgsky, lake)
come forth, from love's spire
born in life's fire,
born in life's fire.
come forth, from love's spire
in the burning, all are [of our] yearning,
for life to be.
and in pain there will [must] be gain,
new life!

stirring in, salty streams
and dark hidden seams
where the fossil sun gleams.

they were, sent from [to] the gates
ride the tides of fate
ride the tides of fate.
they were, sent from [to] the gates,
in the burning all are [of our] yearning,
for life to be.

there's no end to my life,
no beginning to my death:
death is life.
