I haven't seen anybody mention this festival lately and thought to checkk the site this morning. It's on Memorial Day Weekend and it has quite the lineup. If it were'nt so short notice for me I'd head to it. I'm still arguing with myself over just going anyway.
$40 a head for 3 days is cheap enough.
Anybody here going?

It doesn't appear anyone on these boards is buzzing about going.
I actually decided to go and convinced my wife as well. We spent the entire weekend organising our finances, finding hotels, arranging flights, landing a pet-sitter, etc. Literally hours of brain-puddling work.
We had all our ducks in a row and decided to make the finalising calls when we were informed that the Free Round-Trip tickets we had received due to a delayed flight last year: A)Required a 10-day notice to use (not printed on the voucher) and B)Placed us in W-class which has a very limited number of seats for a given flight and did not exist for the flights we needed.
So, we will not be attending and are pretty bummed. Actually, we both said that it was the greatest self-inflicted disappointment either of us had ever experienced.
I just needed a forum to vent. Thx.

Not much of the shroomery seems to be into Techno. I debated going this year, but decided on Mutek instead. I also lack pretty much any valid ID at the moment which makes getting over the boarder tricky.
Maybe I'll check it out next year.

So, I've been scouring the internet for a EMF-type to go to that has an attractive lineup. The 1st thing I discovered is that Memorial Day weekend is absolutely blowing out all over the US. Too bad it is too late to try and plan any of those shows. The 2nd thing I discovered is that no one really books or confirms farther than 3-4 weeks in the future. That seems weird to me. I remember back in the day having flyers for events 3-6 months in advance. The big events that are definitely going to happen simply don't have lineups yet despite the fact that tickets are available for purchase. Nocturnal Wonderland is a fine example.
