My Place has no AC. i can not change this there is nothing i can do about it. This indeed sucks much ass. The state i live in will soo be in the 80's and then later in the summer the 90's and very humid. Soooo i think my problem is kinda obvious. i need a cooling solution. Any ideas for cheep effective cooling for a closet area?

For terrariums, just freeze water in a few of your left over milk jugs, then rotate them to and from the freezer and FC as required. RR

my idea is a variation on the milk jug idea.
i have a closet that is my grow room its about 3 ft by 3ft and 7 ft high. i think ill buy four 5 gallon water jugs from the store. freeze them and then rotate out two every two days. 2 in freezer, 2 in closet. ill use a simple fan blowing on the 10 gallons of ice to circulate the air and cool the whole room. i think that it should be sufficient to cool the room by 8 or 9 degrees necessary to allow for optimal fruiting conditions.
whada you think?

You can dig a trench 25 deep down and lay 4" DWV pipe
back forth like a radiator cover back up Then blow air into its at
one end and pipe the cooler air into your chamber, That deep it
at least 70f. Like In a cavern.. Free cool air.
or get a used window shaker for 35$

This guy said he can't install an AC in his place, what makes you think he can dig a 25 ft trench?

Totally unrelated but i met a guy that ran pvc onto the top of his house and painted it black with a pump pushing the water from his pool up there so it was solar heated air for his pool.

well it was for his pool its all in the subject of using pvc above and below ground to get a desired result. If you could not afford a heater in the winter it might be a possibility dunno. Just a cool deal thats all
