Thanks in advance.. So I put my casings into the FC about a 4 days ago. I patched when i took it out of the INCUBATOR, now the whole top is white and but looking very healthy.
My question..
Is it too late to patch any further or is this the time to do it.. I thought i read some where that your not supposed to patch once in the FC.. Is this true
Would it be best to patch now for a fuller flush? The whole casing would have to be patched... I guess my humidity was too high for a while running at 92%.. now I have it set at about 84% Humidity.
what do you all think??
thanks

First read my pinning strategy. You want high RH at this time up until your pins are set. You need to either increase FAE's lower temps slightly to slow down myc growth and trigger it to fruit not veg, this is very important and learning casing maintance is invaluable. GL

Agreed. Don't patch. Fruit. You failed to say what your casing layer is composed of, but the majority of times I've seen casing layers colonize fully is when somebody uses coir instead of a traditional casing material such as peat or jiffy mix. If so, patching with even more coir will keep the mycelium in veg, preventing fruiting. Take hyphae's advice on fae, and up your humidity back where you had it. A fully colonized casing should be treated as an uncased substrate for best results. RR
