PC to pasteurize Hpoo?

I was wondering if a pressure cooker could be used to pasteurize some horsepoo. I was going to grab myself a bunch of hpoo and use it as spawn for a bunch of wbs that I have colonizing with various strains. I have limited knowledge in the area of spawning and have read as much as I can regarding it. All help is appreciated!

a pressure cooker actually pressurizing wouldnt work for pasteurization, but thats due to the fact that it'll go beyond the 180 degree limit. doing so would cause the death of all that is good in the pasteurized poo.
you could, however, use the pressure cooker without the lid on, in mildly hot water (160-170f) for 30-45 min, as a big water bath.

Oh ok I have an AA925 and no other pot that big so that would work perfectly. So I could just get a big glad bag and put the prepped hpoo in there at 160-170 f for 30-45 min and when it's done it would be pasteurized? Also, before pasteurization, I've heard of people adding vermiculite to the hpoo. At what ratio would you add vermiculite and what other things could you add to the hpoo before pasteurization?

while having no experience spawning to bulk, from what ive gathered .. the core temp of the substrate, i.e. the very center of the bag, needs to reach that 160-170 limit. the numbers provided to you are straight from TMC. but yea, once its at that temperature, and of course cooled, its pasteurized and ready to be spawned.
as for additions to add to the hpoo, straw and verm are the only two i can think of offhand, though that of course doesnt mean there cant be other things. as for verm/hpoo ratio, id say 50/50 would work out just fine, as long as the moisture content was kept to field capacity for the substrate.

50/50 by volume, i should've said 50/50 by weight would be an insane amount of verm

Here are the best methods for poo i have found:
http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/23705 http://www.shroomery.org/index.php/par/26911
Although this is what I do:
Soak my poo in a pot (1/2 - 3/4 filled with poo, to the top with water) with warm\hot water from the tap for an hour. Strain in stainer, pushing down on poo to get out excess water.
Soak my vermiculite for a few minutes
Put hay in strainer, and rinse thouroghly with hot water.
Get an oven bag from the grocery store, and put in desired ammount of poo (it depends how much will fit on your over rack) by picking it up outta the strainer, and squeezing all the water out of it has hard as you can until just a few drips come out, then break it up as you put it into teh bag.
Add about 20% vermiculite by squeezing the water out of it like the poo, then add it to poo in the bag.
Add about 30-40% straw from the strainer, by also picking it up and doing the squeeze method.
Make sure a little air is in the bag, grip the top securely, then shake the crud outta it using both hands (one to guide it from underneath) to get everything mixed in perfectly.
Squeeze the air out of the bag, and secure it next to the compost by either a zip-tie or rubber band... cut off extreme excess plastic.
Put the meat thermometer through the center hole where the ziptie\rubberband is, and into the middle thickest part of the poo.
Put it in the over at 300degrees and watch CAREFULLY for the thermometer to reacha bout 160-170 then turn the oven down to 180-200 to maintain that optimal temp of 160-175 in the bag...
Set timer for 3 hours, watch to make sure temp doesnt rise above 185! You may have to open + fan your over if it starts to heat up too fast and wont go down, but you will get the hang of it.
Take out, let cool, use. (i like to mix grain spawn with it in a 1:4 spawn:compost ratio by mixing crumbled substarte into a garbage bag with the compost, then holding the top and shaking the crap outta the bag to mix it. Then put it all into lasagnaa pans with 1/4inch vermiculite on the bottom, then about 3 inches of compost\spawn mix. Put saran wrap over the top, let incubate for a week until colonized. Put casing layer on top, incubate until ready for fruiting.)
