Mycelium growing onto glass, not substrate?! (pic)

Anyone ever seen this before? The glass was flipped about 3 days ago to speed up the then "bottom" (now seen top) colonization, but the threads are going onto the glass.
Is this normal? Is this a sign of strong mycelium?
Lemme Know! :]

Please not that the top of the cake, since upside down, is roughly 75mm from the top of the jar.
