this is how i feel when im tripping
    #564918 - 02/27/02 05:36 PM (15 years, 4 months ago)

The roaring waterfall
is the Buddha's golden mouth.
The mountains in the distance
are his pure luminous body.
How many thousands of poems
have flowed through me tonight!
Ans tomorrow I won't be able
to repeat even one word.

Speaking of nothing
delicate words fall from lips
shattering silence.

--------------------
Just another spore in the wind.

The whole universe,
The whole world, is you;
Do you think
There is any other?
This is why the ancients say,
"people lose themselves,
Pursuing things;
If they could turn it around,
They would be the same as Buddha."

Another delicate spirit
Floating through the night
Awakened by the silence
Blossoms into grace
A dirge for your November
To see the cosmic mind
Again the time slips slowly
To merge with all the light

Between the conscious and the unconscious, the mind has
put up a swing:
all creatures, even the supernovas, sway between these
two trees,
and it never winds down.

Angels, animals, humans, insects by the millions, also the
wheeling sun and moon;
ages go by, and it goes on.

Everything is swinging: heaven, earth, water, fire,
and the secret one slowly growing a body.
I saw that for fifteen seconds, and it made me a servant
for life.

"Curiosity sways reasoning, and I am off to the side
A hole is ripped open, and I dive inside
Gone to this world for 15 minutes, but there for three days
Floating amongst the clouds and becoming the waves
Mind as clear as a clean mountain spring, thinking of nothing...
Knowing that all that is and all that will be,
Is flowing slowly along, and passing through me"

All that I am is here deep inside
We taste the sweet fruit that we gave for life
The nectar is pure and quenches our thirst
To know of the things that have gone and we learn

A symbolic twist to an unkown delight
Ravishing beasts as they prance through the night
Fears are released as we set ourselves free
To cradle the wonder of all that we see
And as the moon glows a candle in sight
Illumation of energy through light

Praise tp emptiness that blanks out existence. Existence:
This place made from our love for that emptiness!
Yet somehow comes emptiness,
this existence goes.
Praise to that happeneing, over and over!

For years I pulled my own existence out of emptiness.
Then one swoop, one swing of the arms,
that work is over.
Free of who I was, free of presence, free of
dangerous fear, hope,
free of mountainous wanting.
The here-and-now mountain is a tiny piece
of straw
blown off into emptiness.

These words I'm saying so much begin to lose meaning:
Existence, emptiness, mountain, straw:
Words and what they try to say swept
out the window, down the slant of the roof.

If we could only remember
Remember to forget this adopted chaos
Follow the path back in time
Remember why we are here
To coexist in harmony with everything that is
Stop consuming everything, Wanting what is his
Leave the ego behind and learn to love again
If everyone could remember this
we could all be friends
Friends not only to our human brothers
But to all life that shares this sphere with us

Yet we have taken from our mother
Now she has nothing left to give
We have taken every drop of milk
But we still need more to live
She has showed us patience and selflesness
But she can stand no more
We have to pay the price soon
we have pushed her way to far
Yet we will still be surprised
When she wages war
