the multiverse

Imagine if you will a single six-sided die.
You throw the die, and it lands on a number. Which number does it show?
Your limited perspective makes you think it lands on 1 particular number.
From the perspective of the multiverse, it lands on all numbers.
For each possible outcome of a particular event, there are an infinite number of possibilities and thus an infinite number of alternate realities corelated with the outcome of that event.
Thus, though you are experiencing a singular reality, where only one outcome is apparent, you must realize that there are an infinite number of parallell universes where different outcomes have taken place.
Thus, though your die may have landed on 6, there is also a universe where your die landed on 1. In fact, there is a universe where your die spontaneously combusted, for no apparent reason at all! And each and every possibility in between.
My father and I used to have conversations about parallel universes all the time. We liked to play little games with imagining what the universe would be like if key factors were different.
There is a universe where birds are the dominant life form on earth. There is also a universe where everything is exactly the same except there is one less grain of sand on the sahara desert. So, from the important, to the extremely mundane, every possible universe exists.
For not only is the universe infinite, there are an infinite nuber of universes.
infinity gets bigger every day.
A word on consciousness:
Consciousness is the navigator of the multiverse. You can use your consciousness to connect the dots from one universe to the other. Don't like the way things are going in the universe you are in now? Change your course! But remember, you can't use force against the other navigators. Finding your best personal universe can often be a very personal, solitary journey.
connecting the dots has always been a hobby of mine. Its huge in the future. People keep going back in time to doomed universes, trying to save them. We like to add more to our drawings.
Also, remember that life has infinite possibility. Clinging to one possibility often restricts oneself from other possibilities. Advancing certain possibilities often means leaving others behind. Perhaps that is why I frequently see myself as a frog in a pond full of lily pads, unsure of which lily pad to jump onto.
anyway, hope this spiritual knowledge suits you, and if anyone knows more about the scientific theory behind what I am saying, I would love to hear it, for my understanding of parallel realities is mainly spiritual. To have a way to logically validate this thing I know would be sweet.

a universe exists where oprah winfrey fondled george bush, who happened to be a longshoreman.
and bill brasky is a real person, who is 9 feet tall and really can take a shotgun blast standing (though shotguns are what we know here as cantalopes...)
very spiritual thoughts - my apologies for putting a comical spin on it - but you can change that

good thing there's variety! Otherwise the multiverse would be very boring.
but, remember that some kinds of variety are painful and unecessary.

It's just an idea, and not even a theory!
Theories can be tested. The multiverse can't, thus it doesn't even get "theory" status.

Hey Tren,
What do you think about his dice analogy falling under the Theory of relativity.
Doesn't what number you consider to be up, depend on what plane in space you consider to be down?

There's a universe where i replied to this thread with something constructive, but in this one that didn't happen.

Well you can choose any direction you want to be "up" but it's only a label anyways - what you call it doesn't change anything about the object's orientation.
What number is "up" is dependant on what direction you define as "up"...but the number that "lands up" is the number opposite to the side resting on the surface - which is dependant only on the plane of the table top.
Relativity is about motion - how the die falls from your hand and how that relates to the motion of the obects around it (or how the motion effects everything involted).
