Hello all.. this is my first post on this forum... i have been growing for quite some time now and up until just recently i have been really lucky as far as contams.. but i have been experiencing an epidemic of the greenest kind... i mean it all started out with some of my jars becoming contaminated with the green mold, so i just tossed them.. then on one of my casings i had the same problem.. now it seems as though an entire round of jars has converted to the green side of the force... i am wanting to start over from scratch... i have already ordered new supplies for substrate, and have gotten new syringes for innoc from good old spore lab... but now I'm looking towards my cleaning efforts.. i live in an incredibly drafty house and fear that the spores are just flying about everywhere.. what sorts of cleaning methods and precautions should i use for the future.. damn i hate the summer!!! lol Thanks for your help...

Bleach bomb your grow area, jars, tools, everything related to the hobby. Build yourself a glovebox for inoculations, prints, syringes, etc. GL.

Well for starters i was using WBS in quart jars, PC'd for 60 or so minutes then allowed to cool. Then innoc'd with spore syringe made by myself not in a glove box or anything but done quite quickly. (this will be done in a home made glove box from now on) Spore syringes were made using boiled water allowed to cool and sterilized syringes, although during the creation of my spore prints there could have been the introduction of contams because i never used alcohol on the foil or anything... so i think it was just me becoming complacent in my processes.
