God damn sleep paralysis!

What a trip from hell that was. I think I was stuck there in bed for like 20 min or was it all a dream?
I'd VERY slowly slump and crawl to my bedroom door, blink, and be back in bed dsfjdsfjksdflkdsf.
I once crawled down the stairs, blinked, was back in bed then laughed. This went one for what seemed like 20 min.
Not fun.
I then woke up for real with "Lice pictures" echoing over and over again in my head for a few min.

Anyway, there you go. What an awful time/trip but fun to think about after it's all gone.

It's a common symptom of narcolepsy... did you know that? I used to get it almost every day until they started medicating me.
Agreed it is sheer hell. Just be glad you didn't get any of the lovely hypnagogic and hypnopompic that often come with it. It's not a good kind of trip...

I had one episode of sleep paralysis a few weeks ago where in my dream i thought i was experiencing a really bad coke come down. I was in bed and felt like complete shit and could only move at what felt like an inch an hour. Finally i was able to snap my head and neck and that woke me up.
I get it about once and month and it is complete hell but sometimes kind of cool.

He he he...ok I feel better I wasn't nuts. I've had it a few times and the only thing I could move was my head. (yeah I know weird) I bounced it up and down on the pillow till I fully woke up.

Luckily I can't say I've ever had anything like this happen to me before. It doesn't sound like fun.

Oh man, realistically it's a split second or a few seconds in your mind. It FEELS like an hour of pure hell FIGHTING as HARD as you can to move. Also you fall in and out of dream state. Fuckin hell.
What is happening, I believe, is the gland that releases the paralyzing chemical while you sleep doesn't fully shut off as you begin to wake up. It's just a little hiccup that I think happens to everyone once in their life.

Taking bongrips and watching Discovery they said something about it being the body has fallen asleep but the mind hasen't yet, or a person snaps into being awake (I know the right word for this but even the spell check couldn't fig what I was trying to spell. Starts with a c ) just before they would have fallen asleep.
(I did say I was taking bongrips right?)

Yep... unless you have narcolepsy. Then it happens all the fudging time.
