casing today

Well i hope I pasteurized my casing correctly because i will be applying it at soon as it cools down.

I mixed up my coir and verm. I'm not sure of the ratio but id guess around 35/65 coir/verm.

I got it to field capacity, put a little water under my pan in my roaster oven, put the pan in and poured water in. The water came about halfway up the the casing in the bag. I set my oven to 170 and let it cook for about an hour and fifteen minutes after the light went off.

This is my first casing and its 5lbs of the stud so i hope all goes well.

I was gonna say that microwaving would be an easier way to sterilize, but not considering the amount you have I would guess. From what my buddy has told me, though, this method of pasteurization has always worked well for him. Good Luck.

I didn't want to sterilize though. I hear pasteurizing is the way to go.

I wouldn't sterilized my poo so why my casing
