Doesn't Any One Know About Goblin Valley?

I was quite suprised when I did a search for goblin valley and found no results!? I'm sure some of you have been there or at least heard of it. Well if not let me enlighten you to the joys of Utah scenery. First a brief history of the state park also known as Mushroom Valley:
Quote:
Secluded Goblin Valley was first discovered by cowboys searching for cattle. Then, in the late 1920's, Arthur Chaffin, owner/operator of the Hite Ferry on the Colorado River, and two companions were searching for an alternate route between Green River and Cainsville. They came to a vantage point about a mile west of Goblin Valley and were awed by what they saw - five buttes and a valley of strange-shaped rock formations surrounded by a wall of eroded cliffs. In 1949, Chaffin returned to the area he called Mushroom Valley. He spent several days exploring the mysterious valley and photographing its scores of intricately eroded goblins. Publicity attracted visitors to the valley despite its remoteness. In 1954, it was proposed that Goblin Valley be protected from vandalism. The state of Utah later acquired the property and established Goblin Valley State Reserve. It was officially designated a sate park on August 24, 1964.

This park is amazing to visit, you can find any information you want about it if you do a search online. A quick warning if you plan to go during the hot months take tons of water and make sure you have a way to get out of the sun, always lots and lots of sunblock. Also because this park is associated with mushrooms, you get alot of immature people who get themselves into a lot of trouble. Trust me the park rangers have had alot of experience with these people, use good judgement, be smart, and don't go crazy. I've been to the park before and had a blast, we went every where and saw the most amazing things, luckily I had gone with some one who was experienced in the area and there are some interesting stories to certain areas. Look it up and you'll find some great info and maybe you'll plan your summer trip to Utah to see the goblins, elves and gnomes.

Are there mushrooms there or just mushroom-shaped rocks? Judging by the pic I'm guessing no but...
Is it all rocky like that or is there a green part too?

Just mushroom shaped rocks. Here are some more pics I found

And here is the yahoo search for goblin valley Goblin Valley Yahoo Search Its dry, hot, and in the middle of no where. Only shrooms you'll find here are the ones that are comming out of the ground as rocks.
Edit: Also a quick note, I had 3 friends about 6 years ago who thought it would be great to go down there, one of them was a long time user and had been around the block, the two others had no idea what happens when you take mind altering substances because all they had done was smoke some bud. They got down there and the youngest friend ended up running naked through a camp of a mormon family who then notified the rangers who then searched their car who then had the boys arrested. My friend Tommy was attempting to gain control the streaker, they found the other guy lost in the maze of mushroom rocks curled up in a ball and completely dehydrated. ATTENTION: Don't go there if you're young, dumb, and immature. Hey I was there once and did stupid crap as a kid, but I usually had a good head on my shoulders and never did any thing that attracted so much attention that would get me arrested. I do not support you go there to trip, pop buttons, fry, smoke up, or any other action that would involve illegal substances, I also advise you do not carry and illegal substances on you while at the park. Be responsible and think before you act. Hope to hear some of you go to the park and see a great part of the world.

quite nice - we do have some spectacular rock formations and areas in northern and central australia - there is something about a desert - a spirituality and resonance that is quite amazing.
