Hey I was wondering if anyone had an idea to what these are, probaly not active, but I'm just curious since they were in my yard. Pictures below description.
Habitat: found in my backyard, growing in grass and soil. Gills: Dark brown, some gills attached, some smaller ones in between that seem to fade off Stem: Thin, hollow, 2-3 inches length, whitish cream color Caps: ranging from .3-.6 inches. Smooth texture and conical, but it doesn't come around evenly, and there are ridges are the ends of the caps (almost forming like 5 points if you can tell from the pictures) It seems to Bruise Brown, I can't see any blue. No strong scent, found near other mushrooms

Thanks!

Like I said, I knew it probaly wasn't active, and even if there was a positive ID I still wouldn't eat it. I'm just curious and interested in mycology and want to know more about certain species, etc. so I can expand my knowledge.

Hey fuker, we probably get these because some dude just picked all the mushrooms in his back yard and ate them. That or there 2 year old brought one into the house with breath reaking mushroom. What you have to say about the post should be kept to yourself.
