Should I worry about this?

Well, there's been an explosion of growth on part of afoaf's casing. This new group of pins have grown a bit bigger, and they are all a yellowish color. The same spot has already produced several normal looking mushrooms, and two mutants. What the hell is going on here? Might there be some kind of contam under the surface at that spot that could account for all this?
Also, the viels on these things break, and cannot be seen. there's nothing to indicate that the viel has broken, other than running a finger under the cap to feel it, and I know that definately shouldn't be done, as it could introduce contams to the casing/shroom. Oh well, I'm just glad those things are growing :smile:

Well, the yellow mushies are getting bigger, but they aren't getting darker. I picked another mutant off of that spot yesterday. This one looked like little bites were taken from the bottom of the cap, all the way around. Should these ones be thrown out or what?
