I am looking forward to my first pftek this summer.
My only shroom experience was with 15 grams of fresh mex cubes.
What are the differences?(besieds 1.5g dry = 15g fresh)
and what is the correct process before ingesting for after they grow?
Do i just snip and eat?

The only times I've ever had dried mushrooms were the times when I had chocolate bars with dried and powdered Cyans in them. I couldn't even taste the mushrooms in the chocolate.
But I really don't mind fresh mushrooms anyways. The taste isn't that bad.

I really enjoy the texture and the taste of wet mushrooms.
A taste that I can almost compare to chocolate in the way that they are both very unique flavors(cant find them anywhere else), and somehow I can taste similarities.
Snip or pull. Clean off the shit you dont want to eat. I dont understand why people sometimes dont enjoy the taste of even wet mushrooms. I actually really enjoy the taste. When they are dried, I like it less so.

The general agreement is that mushrooms taste better wet. And why not? I eat fresh mushrooms(edit: non hallucinogenic) all the time, they're delicious! A little bit of ranch dressing on your mushies and you've got a tasty trip.
As for the taste of dry, I've only sampled small amounts, (this coming weekend is my first trip) and I didn't mind the taste much at all. I found it to be a sort of bland and woody taste, with a tint of bad aftertaste.
You probably knew the taste anyway, but there's my stance on it.

IMO wet shrooms are harder to keep down. Just something about the texture my stomach disagrees with.
They each maintain the same chemicals, but dry shrooms have 90% of their unneeded weight removed. Obviously, this is a much lighter load on the stomach
If you can handle a stomach overloaded with fresh gooey mushrooms, and you have no patience for drying; then yeah, fresh is the way to go. Otherwise, I'd say dry em. They also mix better with other foods when dry.

I've found the effects to be more interesting when eating fresh mushrooms. I don't know why this is. It usually just feels like something is lacking when I eat dry mushrooms, like the trip is as strong, but some of the 'magic' is lost.
Although it could very easily be the setting; I've only ever had dried mushrooms in a crappy house in the UK as a stressed university student and have only ever had fresh mushrooms in a nice house in the Netherlands as a laid-back working computer programmer.

I think i need slightly less fresh, than dried, If you account for the water. For instance I think 10G wet = a 1.5G(dry) trip. I also think that they come on a little faster for me (25mins vs. 40mins).
It might just be me though.
