U.S. Government sells out patriots to a foreign power

The following is excerpted from the dailybulletin.com's story (linked below):
Quote:
While Minuteman civilian patrols are keeping an eye out for illegal border crossers, the U.S. Border Patrol is keeping an eye out for Minutemen -- and telling the Mexican government where they are.
According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S.Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups...
Minuteman members were not so sanguine about the arrangement, however, saying that reporting their location to Mexican officials nullifies their effectiveness along the border and could endanger their lives.
"Now we know why it seemed like Mexican officials knew where we were all the time," said Chris Simcox, founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps. "It's unbelievable that our own government agency is sending intelligence to another country. They are sending intelligence to a nation where corruption runs rampant, and that could be getting into the hands of criminal cartels.
"They just basically endangered the lives of American people." ...
TJ Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, a union representing more than 10,000 Border Patrol agents, said agents have complained for years about the Mexican consulate's influence over the agency.
"It worries me (that the Mexican government) seems to be unduly influencing our enforcement policies. That's not a legitimate role for any foreign nation," Bonner said, though he added, "It doesn't surprise me."
Border Patrol agents interviewed by the Daily Bulletin said they have been asked to report to sector headquarters the location of all civilian volunteer groups, but to not file the groups' names in reports if they spot illegal immigrants.
"Last year an internal memo notified all agents not to give credit to Minuteman volunteers or others who call in sightings of illegal aliens," said one agent, who spoke on the condition he not be identified. "We were told to list it as a citizen call and leave it at that. Many times, we were told not to go out to Minuteman calls."
The document also mentions locations of field operations of Friends of the Border Patrol, which patrolled the San Diego sector from June to November 2005. Mexican officials had access to the exact location of the group founded by Andy Ramirez, which ran its patrols from the Rough Acre Ranch, a private property in Mc Cain Valley.
Ramirez said that for safety reasons, he disclosed the location of his ranch patrol only to San Diego Border Patrol and law enforcement officials. The group did not apprehend or spot any undocumented migrants in that area.
"We did not release this information ... to the media or anyone else," Ramirez said. "We didn't want to publicize that information. But there it is, right on the Mexican government's Web site, and our government gave it to them."

My rant:
Our own government is filled with traitors. They are snitching off citizen patrols which report illegal activities violating the sovereignty of the U.S. to a foreign power which PROMOTES those illegal activities.
A couple of notes: 1) There is nothing wrong with reporting crimes of trespass and violation of national borders, despite the histrionics and shouting 'vigilantism' coming from the free-rider victim lobby and the Mexican government. 2) This is not a racial issue, 'Mexican' is NOT a race, it is a NATIONALITY as highlighted by the protesters who marched with FOREIGN GOVERNMENT FLAGS.
Do our lords and masters not think that Al Qaeda planners don't pay attention to the web sites where this information is given away courtesy of the U.S. government in collusion with a foreign government?
'Conservatives' - here is proof that the Bush administration doesn't give two shits about your country or your safety from terrorists, but is more concerned with catering to big business (check out those oil company and defense contractor profits and the giant agribusiness donations to politicians and the politicians subsidies of said businesses) and the nanny state socialists. They try to keep you in a state of fear so you will be compelled to surrender your liberties and the lives of our soldiers in the name of security - yet they promote the violation of our national sovereignty at home and the animosity of people the world over by engaging in unnecessary military actions against third rate powers, while at the same time conspiring to keep you in a state of dependency.
A fish rots from the head down.

You edited this part as part of your jihad against the United States:

Here's the whole paragraph:
Quote:
According to three documents on the Mexican Secretary of Foreign Relations Web site, the U.S. Border Patrol is to notify the Mexican government as to the location of Minutemen and other civilian border patrol groups when they participate in apprehending illegal immigrants -- and if and when violence is used against border crossers.

To what mental defect do we owe your moronic characterization of my post? That I should point out the treasonous actions of our own government against it's own citizens is somehow in the dim recesses of your poorly lit mind, a 'jihad'?
What's your point? "when they participate in apprehending illegal immigrants" can mean when they try to spot them and report them to authorities - which is what is happening. Simply stated, the U.S. government is SNITCHING OFF patriotic citizens for the benefit of those engaged in criminal activity. The American citizens in question are engaged in the DETECTION and REPORTING of criminal activity, whether the activity is illegal entry, drug smuggling, people smuggling or terrorists who are sneaking across our borders. These conscientious citizens ARE NOT engaged in violence, they are doing what ANY citizen auxiliary does in any place in the country where such organizations are used. Yet traitors in our own government are working against them, against the upholding of the law and in collusion with a foreign government, aiding and abetting those engaged in breaking our laws.

Si, yo soy muy loco. But then again, those running our government seem to be rather schizophrenic on the issues of national security, national sovereignty and the interests of the American people (to name but a few).

Many of us get what we vote against. Political power lies not in casting votes, but in 'counting' votes and administering at will once one has secured his or her position of authority. Democracy (as actually practiced) is merely the act of voting, beyond that it is an article of faith. If the people have been convinced that those wielding power do so as a matter of popularity, they will countenance all sorts of behavior that in other situations would be considered barbaric, immoral, obnoxious, overly intrusive and/or in the very least, ill advised. What we would condemn from our children, we celebrate from our 'leaders.'

You get what you vote for.
Actually, you get what you pay for.
"You" being big business.
Money has always wielded a disproportionate amount of influence in American politics. Money has been slowed in the past by the vigilence of the American people as a whole. What is different today is that money has become more and more sophisticated in its manipulations and has gotten really smart in getting the public to be really dumb. It's getting to be In-your-face now, pretenses of democracy are being shed yearly.
Now big money controls the media which controls the mind of the average person transforming him into a sheep who votes for the candidate of money's choice.
Is it any wonder America sells out its own?
What you have now in America is what visionary director George Romero forsaw in his masterpiece horror classic, Dawn of the Dead (1978 version). Americans sleep-walking in a shopping mall.
The ultimate consumers, consuming themselves! Driving stupid SUVs while gas prices skyrocket.
America today has forgotten its heroic origins and its Constitution. It is fat and lazy and staggeringly drunk on its past glory.
It is ready for the knockout punch which will arrive any time now. Purchase gold and silver and get ready cause its coming, people..
