What tools do you use for the most effective grinding?
I want to try the lemon experiment, tomorrow, God-willing

You gotta go old-school with a mortar and pestle! The lasttime i triped it was at a frend's gf's house, who lived with her awsome ass indian father. The whole place was decked out in authentic indian -stuff- and he had a giant stone mortar and pestle. He even took the liberty of grinding them up for us. that was a fun night, i remember rambling on to him about crazy shit while he was playin san andreas. I could tell he was tryin not to laugh his ass off.

Heh, thanks
Perhaps I will just do it with my fingers
I have the house essentially to myself for the better part of the way, and an intense trip would be awesome (also, I need to be on shrooms in order to have a more autentic feel for a a part in a book I'm writing, for writing about the experience by memory does not do it justice)

If you bought your shrooms say $12 bucks for 3g, you could invest $12 more into a cheap coffee-grinder, secure 2 trips (due to lemon juice magic) and this would make the coffee-grinder free for you. Of course, it also suggests an effort of going to a nearby supermarket, and you just want the trip
Sorry, man, couldn't help it, sorry again.

Worst case: put three bags of thick plastic around the dried mushrooms and beat with a hammer on concrete. You get Turkish fine-ground mushroom grain.

Coffee grinder is good - just be careful when you take the top off, it's like ash so it tends to float around a bit. The good thing about grinding it to a powder is it seems to cut down on the gas.

Better don't take THE CAP off but turn the grinder upside down, knock lightly a couple of times on a table and take THE GRINDER off. Almost all the powder will be left in the cap, you'll only need to scrap the minute remnants stuck inside the grinding chamber. Another good thing about grinder is better extraction of the goodies be it into a lemon juice, tea or anything else. Just grind right before taking 'cause powdered shrooms will probably also degrade faster.

Recently i have been using a shot glass and a pair of good scissors. I don't have any better options and this seems to work just fine. very little clean up too cuz i just fill the shot glass up with lemon juice afterwards.

Get a big ziplock bag, two magazines, and a heavy shoe. Put the mushies in the bag (cracker dry of course) and put one magazine on either side of the bag. Set this on the ground and beat the hell out of it with the shoe. Of course a coffee grinder is going to be fastest, but I think I would most like to use a mortar and pestle and thank the mushroom for what it is about to give you and ask it to be kind. Showing respect with prayer and chanting often drastically increases the effects you desire. Obviously could be chalked up to placebo, but I don't think so.

Dicing it up with a chopping knife is the best way I think, to me it works better than a coffee grinder and whole alot better than a pair scissors.
Get a good chopping board and a sharp chopping knife and mince it up to any consistency you want. This hardly takes up any time and you can mince it close to fine powder if you prefer. To me this is not really necessary but to each his own. Then you can scrape the diced shrooms off the board with the knife into a cup, pour boiling hot water on the diced shrooms and let it sit for about 10 minutes. Then use a mini strainer and strain out the shrooms from the tea, squeeze lemon juice in the tea. Take the rest of the shrooms that you strained and pour some more hot water to get the last bit of psilocybin out of them. Make sure to be on an empty stomach and use a little more of a generous portion of shrooms than you would normally use when eating them. If you have a tolerance use even more. Gaining a tolerance can be pretty easy. If you ate shrooms the day before you have a tolerance. Slam both cups quick. If you do this I'll guarantee it will hit you good and hit smooth and the visuals seems to be more acidic style with the lemon juice helping it.

My mortar and pestle:
I didnt have anything else so I took a screwdriver and used a blade to scuff up the bottom of it and used a small bowl I had. Worked alright, just kinda took a little bit longer than I'd have like.

Anybody know how effective 'ganja grinders' are when dealing with shrooms?

Had a laugh at that image of you going to town on your mushies with a shoe! Shroom abuse! you'd better say sorry after treating them like that! If I was a mushroom I'd kick your arse!
