Nice looking shrooms growing all over my property
    #5640560 - 05/17/06 12:48 AM (17 years, 8 months ago)

I found these babys growing in the shade around moss and (mainly) wood.

Having problems getting enough spores off them to ID. I'm prob doing something wrong.

They grow in clusters of upto hundreds tightly packed. Stems are up to 60mm and the caps are max 10mm wide.

They were found in Otago, New Zealand.

Note in the image they are the same type, but one sample is older (the dark one).

Good luck and TIA!

They are not active if that is your interest.

Possibly Mycena and the reason you may not be seeing spores is because they could be white spores which are sometimes hard to see unless done on black paper. :mushroom2:
