I posted this in the pub but I don't like the replies I got, so now it's in here.

So I'm quiting smoking pot for a while. I want to stop because portions of my life aren't going as good as I'd like them to. Its going on day two now and I know that that is not long at all but I'm already noticing rather negative results. I get really angry easy, walking around the house kicking and hitting things. And my reasoning for getting that angry isn't good aether i.e. accidentally pressing multiple undesired keys on the computer(such as trying to press the g key and hitting h and b), having to deal with animals in my way, not having what I want.

I've never really had anger problems before this but that's due to my complete neglect of feeling anger what so ever. I mean some times, while I still smoked, I would notice that in situations that would cause severe anger in most people I wouldn't feel any anger at all. That seems like a good thing but I really don't think so and its hard to explain why.

As for positive effects I haven't noticed anything, it's really making me want to start back up. I'd like to last at least a week but I don't know if I would like some of the things I would do or say to those close to me. Are these signs of addiction that I should bury and continue to a better tomorrow, or are these signs that pot IS for me and that I shouldn't stop?

Try not to focus on marijuana use as a sole catalyst for anything positive or negative going on with you right now. It is what it is. Ending your marijuana use is not going to make you a genius. Continuing your marijauna use is not going to make you a genius. Sounds like you need anger management counseling. Take up huffing gas, it will help with all that over-thinky stuff.
