it has always been less than 24 hours for me. i use gkg.net. do you run the dns server that is associated with your domain?

Who is your registrar?
I have removed all of your contact information from the WHOIS query, but you should change that information with your registrar if you don't want it to be publicly accessible...
I was able to get this information for you:
Quote:
Domain servers in listed order: dns3.servidoresdns.net 217.76.128.129 dns4.servidoresdns.net 217.76.129.129

Registry Status: ACTIVE Registry Status: ok
It looks like its registered and active...

Not really, I just used arsys.es services and didn't even touch the dns so it's empty but I thought maybe they'd configure it in such a way that it could be at least found. I'm really at lost here

Yeah I checked the whois, but I still can't get a response... I just go into the command line and do a ping entrotryp.com, it says the host can't be found I really have no idea what to do!

Yeah I have hosting with them, and even tho it hasn't been charged yet to my bank account I can acces the tech config on it.
Maybe a better question now that I think about it would be, what are the steps you have to take AFTER getting the domain and hosting, did you ever have to touch the dns settings or was your domain set up autommaticaly?

Well, with my current hosting, I did not have to make many changes to the configuration... everything was pretty much set up for me in relation to the hosting i had with the company...
Have you told their tech support people that its not up and running yet?

No, I'm planning in calling tomorrow, but I thought that maybe I was supposed to do something, you know I just hope they don't charge me even more money for that tho!

Did some searching all that's listed for the domain is a SOA record and 2 NS records pointing to:
dns4.servidoresdns.net and dns3.servidoresdns.net with TTL set at a minimum of 86400s
The only IP I can find related to this domain is "217.76.129.129" and from what I can tell that IP is the DNS server dns4.servidoresdns.net
The reason why the domain is not properly resolving to the IP is because there are no A records telling the DNS where to point from there on...the proper records haven't been created...When I ping by the site itself "entrotryp.com" i'm not getting a time out error...I'm getting that there is no IP related to that domain
SOooooooo the name resolves up to where the DNS records are stored on the server dns4.servidoresdns.net and from there it doesn't know where to go...There's no other record telling it to point to another IP..It knows that the domain "entrotryp.com" exists but as to the record telling it which IP to access...that's where it is stuck
But if you could answer some questions it would help in figuring out what the next step is from there..
What is the IP your hosting company gave you to access the site without the domain? and also is the site virtually hosted?
