Hey guys... I just harvested a casing of 4 PF cakes colonized with the strain Keepers Creeper. Casing layer was 60/40 verm coir.
Interesting strain... for me I got small but quite fat shrooms out of it... the stupid thing is that there were tones of shrooms on the sides and even on the bottom!!!! I've never had this problem before since I thought I had made sure no light could get in the containers I am using.... strange... Anyhow, I had to brake up the casing quite a bit to get at some of the shrooms. What should I do now? Atm I am dunking it but what would you do after that? Incubate it again so that the myc network can grow together again where its been broken? Add a new casing layer? What.. all advice is apreciated. Peace
EDIT: harvested weight was 140 fresh grams

If it's busted up pretty badly, but you were able to successfully remove all parts of the fruits, it'll still make good spawn.

just pretend its a freasly crumbled cake. just stick it all together in a pan and case with a thin layer.

If you don't have access to bulk substrates, this will work fine. I'd throw it back into the incubator for a couple of days to help it recover, though.

no bulk sorry so I can't use it for spawn. Its not so badly broken up... I had to crumble up the sides a bit but most of the casing stayed whole. Nothing was growing under the middle after all... the shrooms on the bottom were side pins that had grown underneath the substrate instead of up. I think I'll put it back in the incubator 1 day and go from there...
BTW I got 140 grams off of it... thats ok for a first flush. About how much I've usually been getting. Though I know it can still be improved.
thanks everyone and keep the advice comming if anyone else has any ideas

Just lay it back down and recase between the chunks. It will be ok. No incubator, the substrate is already colonized. RR
