About time!!!!!! Myco farm bag

This is my first ever grow and bought -cant mention non sponsors- bag and a cambodia cubensis spore syringe for a completely retard proof grow. I inoculated the bag with the syringe over a month ago and incubated at a steady 25*C. Today i have noticed the FIRST sign of mycelium growth of the rye grain. What the hell took so long??? I inoculated initially with a good 2ml. No growth after 2 weeks so i emptied the whole syringe into the bag (10ml!!). Still no growth so the company sent me a free golden teacher syringe which was nice of them. Now i have just noticed signs of mycelium so i guess i can use this golden teacher syringe for some PF cakes. Any theories about why it took so long?

First thing I would say is the moister content.
Second thing did you handle the bags at all. You should to touch them until you see a lot of growth, like 35% colonized. Then you mix the bag up.
and wait.
Here is mine, with Rye and also CAM from spores.

They were knocked up on 4/23. One was done a few days ago and was spawned. I have not spawned the other one yet.

Ah, i handled mine a lot with frustration. I'll leave now untill i can see plenty mycelium. Since mycelium has started to gorw it shouldent be long befor it colonises the rest, hopefully!

Never heard of them. I go -cant mention non sponsor's- for mycobags. They're the cheapest I've seen out there.

With bags, it seems for newbies that is the first mistake they make.
Unlike jars it is easy to disturb the Mycelium, and that is why it can take longer.

True, true. Noobs have the tendency to squeeze and twist the bag every 5 minutes looking for myc and in doing so, destroy what they are seeking. Sad, really.

Most noobs aren't patient and they should have studied before inoculating their bags.
