"To those who win the victory I will give the hidden manna"
Revelations 2:7
"To those who win the victory I will give the right to eat the fruit of the tree of live that grows in the garden of God"
I suppose this means that to those who see past societies lies, one will understand the connection of the mushroom to the heavenly god.
Thoughts?

You assume manna are mushrooms
Here is something more about manna
Old testament is pretty much a short version of Jewish texts. In Torah (or Zorah) there is more word about manna.
In the days when Jewish folks were in the desert, the god gave them something that was called "Aincient of days" or the "Aincient one", which Jews saw as something of a godly creature, though it didn't move, it didn't talk, it didn't do anything, It was supose to be carried by people through the desert. It's structure was clearly described in the Jewish texts, it seemed to consist of many parts. The thing, as it is described in their texts could be taken to parts and reassembled wherever the Jews would camp.
It's job was making manna. Manna is something that came out of this "Aincient of days" , and they were eating the stuff.
Well whatever this manna was, it was being manufactured in this object called "Aincient of days"
The parts of this thing were described through analogy of organs, but it mentions some kind of oil running through its veins through chambers and all kinds of parts with their function all working to make manna.
Sounds like a manna making machine to me, but whatever it is, it made manna, and it didn't grow between anyones toes.

Hhmm... sounds like a pressure cooker to me.

Also, do you care to reference such an excerpt from the Bible? It was my limited understanding that manna fell from the sky.
 Peace.

The "Ancient of Days" is a Name of the God of the Old Testament. Mystic poet William Blake used this Name often in his writings. Like most of scriptural writings, spiritual principles are personified or objectified.

Hebrews didn't eat mushrooms as part of Kosher dietary practices. Something growing out of animal turds was not going to be consumed by middle eastern peoples in general (even pre-Islamic nomadic Arabs). Moreover, to reduce Hebrew myth and religion to psychedelic experience is really stretching things, despite author Daniel Merkur who even suggested that the 'shewbread' in the Holy of Holies, in the tabernacle in the desert, was grown through with ergot, the lysergic acid content of which allowed Aaron and Moses to go out and 'see the glory of the LORD.'

Indeed. One problem I find with many psychedelic users is they have trouble believing that people can have mystical experiences without the assistance of drugs.

Here it is, in the book of Zohar:
http://www.harbour.sfu.ca/~hayward/van/glossary/ancient.html
lots of references there.
Of course nowhere will you find it being described as a machine, but it did seem to be an inanimate object, which was moved around and taken into parts, the parts were cleaned on every Sabath.

Well, what can I say exept search and you'll see that its the name used for this manna making thing.
Maybe it was used as the name of the god, but it is specifically used as the name for that thing

Manna is the word for energy itself in the Huna Philosophy of Spiritual Wisdom who's legends of its teachings origins goes back to Lemuria which pre dates recorded history. It's like Ki or Chi or Prana.
Huna Spirituality is awesome stuff. ALOOOOOOOHA! I'm surprised its never been brought up here to my recollection. I'm glad to be reminded to give it some more study myself.
The machine you are talking about sounds like a metaphor for our own bodies and meridian grids to me.

Whats wierd is, after I made that reply, I read octavious's post and tried to dig up a web-site I had found a bit back on psionic mind control technology and ended up at a site about other stuff where I just read that monoatomic white gold was used to make a bread where the ancients got their extra manna "energy" from.
That bread may be the "manna food" if it is presented as food in other literature and the monoatomic white gold powder is the source of the energy. Powerful stuff and I'd stay away from it too.
Perhaps the machine you have been reading about is one that made the gold powder and or the bread.
Here is the bit. Ormus is another name for the powder.
Quote:
Ormus is also the Hebrew words for “golden tree”, which David finds appropriate since this white gold is the elixir of life that the sho-bread (& manna) was made from. This is said to be the reason the Priest glowed when he came out of the Holy of Holies, after eating the sho-bread
.
I just realised too that the Huna word for it is spelled with only one n. Not sure if that is relevant to anything or not.
How wierd that a search for another unrelated post brought me to more info on this one.

As far as I see, and if it's related to the tree of life, then it is simply the superfood, which lets you never die, as it best and completely feeds ones body with 'health'. The 'winners' will not have to die anymore in the end. The fruit of the tree of knowledge will feed ones mind

the door of all essence is death
awww, did you think it was something else?
don't flatter yourself.
personally, I think its fun to die.
don't get me wrong, I would hate for my current incarnation to come to an end while there is still work to be done and fun to be had, but death is actually quite enjoyable when you get used to it.
do you really want to stay in the same body forever?

The door of all essence is in birth as well.
Essence always is.
Death and Birth are just doorways in the corridors of time.
Eternal life is about The One, being re-membered in the self, not the physical body. It's about never having to fall into forgetfulness and separation from the One again, incarnate or not.
Just my understanding on the subject of what eternal life means.

Hehe, as the revelations can be read both ways, as the world ends even if you die (subjectively), it surely is a connection there to a possibly realm before birth and after death and to the realm if/when the complete world will possibly end and g*d will do his final harvest (on this planet?) to possibly have some peace again until it starts again somewhere/-when else So yes, I can see manna pointing to the 'transition' of the body, too. However perhaps by superfood, who makes on so conscious (by feeded with life), that one's spirit 'overclocks' the body, making it (the body) 'irrelevant' anyways

I think these ideas are pretty sick. Men made this shit up to deflect responsibility for all the damage they do in the world and also to women. Fear and immaturity at its worst. This says a lot about you IMO. Time to grow up.

Blue,
Why can't ones sense of old self die and new one be born while still alive in the physical?
Ever give up believing something about yourself and started believing something new and different instead and suddenly, your whole view of and experience in life changed for the better?
Why can't manna energy just be the energy of perpetual renewal that breaths new life into each moment? Thats what the mana force would be in the Huna Tradition.
If the Hebrew version of manna is the added energy force experienced when ingesting bread made with Ormus, thats a whole nother funky, sticky topic.
What does the evilness of women have to do with manna and eternal life doc, besides create some comedic relief?
Why not start a post on the evil of women and tell us more. Sounds like you have a lot to get off your chest. Wasn't it just a few weeks ago you were pissed about the feminist movement in PAL and complaining about women who leave you in MPH. Maybe its time to face your fears of women head on and blow right through them.
If I read you correctly in both of those other posts, what you were describing that you didn't like about women, were actually masculine traits they were exercising. I wonder if you ever realised that and thought about why women empowering themselves with thier masculine side bothers you so much.

I have thought about it and it's nonsense. Men hold the power more than women. In the Mideast and around the world many women are owned or aborted to make way for men. That's the tip of the iceberg.
You sound very insecure in your manhood. You need to vilify women because you are afraid of them. It's really a shame. As in Shame on you. Were I a woman I would have noting to do with you, which I'm guessing is why you are so angry at them.

In my deepest crazinessed times, I saw women as verry 'reflective'... verrry reflective, like glass or mirrors, not really in use of their own personality and identity... (in contrast to men, who I saw more impulsive, 'hormone driven' dominant [in contrast to hormone driven 'insecure'], ...)
Women should be more women, however they are...not a reflection of men, at least
Jiggy, you ask so difficult questions, I have trouble to answer, while I see what you aim at. I can not think of a total 'reset' of identity or personality, without something we see like death. There are too many physical memories engraved in our brain, too many associations made up in our mind from our experienced life, that influence and to a big part determine our everyday life. It also is too valuable to simply throw over board and forget. It influenced to the point, where we are right now and it is part of the building of our perspective for the future. I make markers in my experienced pasts, for how, why and in what context I experienced something that way I had. But, I see future as totally changeable, as well.
Hehe, whats Ormus ? never heard of it. I can imagine the 'esoteric' meaning of manna as 'life-energy', but that is what keeps one existent. And yes, existence contains change, as far we can perceive, but it contains some constants as well, as far we can perceive I just hinted at the two trees, standing there in paradise, as far as the jewish version goes

women should be more like men men should be more like women
then, they would understand eachother much better.
of course, some beings have uderstood men and women so well, they are beyond understanding.
these people are utterly doomed

and seeing through societies lies does not award you anything but deeper perception.
