patching over pins?
    #5637290 - 05/16/06 12:40 PM (17 years, 8 months ago)

I just put my casing in the fruiting chamber and patched over the first few spots. Over the last two or three days I have just let the myc. grow. I woke up this morning and there were pins in some of the patches but the whole casing is not colonized yet. Can I patch over the little pins?
thanks in advance

No. You don't want your whole casing layer to colonize. If that happens you can't add moisture by misting.

because if you have a layer of myc water droplets just form on it. if you have a casing layer left then the water gets soaked up and ' drank' by the myc.
