Fuzzy stems after drying???
    #5637139 - 05/16/06 11:52 AM (17 years, 8 months ago)

after being in the dehydrator for about 10 hours some parts of the stems have a fuzzy texture, even though they feel completely dry. does this mean they are still wet or maybe they got picked too late???

were they picked late?  as in you had a mess of spores everywhere?  when spores land on the mushrooms sometimes it gives them almost a velvety feel... but you'd notice the purple/black mess all over them if that's the case
