Can i still use these

This is my frist time trying to grow shrooms. I had 10 jars and all have this stuff on them. Are they still viable? can they be grown and eatin? Help i need help asap :smile:

I would venture to say no. It looks like a fuckin rainbow in there. Don't be discouraged though you should see some of my jars. A lot worse off than yours are.

Dang this sucks. Now i have to go and buy more stuff. Due to not having anymore spores handy. i wish this stuff grew like my MJ did. Im totally bummed.Today i could use find some where that sells the cakes all ready to grow. LOL

Some vendors (no names, no flames please) sell pre-sterilized bags of substrate that are ready to go. All you have to do is inject some spore water and wait. They bags are obviously more expensive than their parts, but for some people the extra price is worth the time savings. If you are interested, post a question on the vendors forum asking for info.

I'm sorry for you, but don't even think to eat shrooms from these jars.
What was the strain ? Did you get it from a vendor ? How did you sterilise your jars ?
