is this a contam or should i be more patient?

my PF jars have been colonizing for about 3 weeks, i used 1 pint jars because i couldnt find 1/2. Anyways, they are about 50% and in some places growing seems to have stopped, and right next to the mycelium the substrate appears for have fallen away from the side, there is a little discoleration there but not much. Does anyone know what is the reason for this, contam or should i wait it out? im really confused because the mycelium is really thick right next to it but it wont move further. any suggestions greatly appreciated! thanks!

you should give it a bit more time. sometimes it's just slow. it shouldn't be something to worry about. however if it is contaminated you'll know after you wait... 'cause contaminations go crazy.
