anyone with a blue aura have ego loss?

This is prolly a dumb question, but I started thinking about it one time and I was trying to come up with a reason why my trips are different from a lot of other peoples.
the only thing that i can think of is because i am a guy with a blue aura, and i heard not many men have them (its spiritual instead of logical i guess..). usually my trips are extremely mellow and i dont get worried at all, even when i'm tripping really hard (dmt, shrooms)
i read in this book that blue auras are constantly 'in search to experience God." thats me
basically though, if you have a mostly blue aura (even though it changes.. ), and have ego loss.. did you feel different about it than what most other people have said, like less 'scary'?

it's weird that you should mention this. I don't know if i have a blue aura but i did experience ego loss last night, and at the peak of it all i asked myself "is this it?" i had expected to go through hell to get to where i was. I was lying on my friend's bed 3 hours(2:00am) after eating 3 grams of aborts and i was listening to the smashing pumpkins. I could literally close my eyes and feel my body disintegrating, from then on as long as my eyes were shut my being was infinite; i merged with the bed, the walls, the music, then something weird happened, i started moving my astral body and had a series of out of body experiences where i would linger right above my head. i could feel the limbs of my new spiritual body moving and it was complete and utter bliss. this continued well into 4 o'clock this morning after i had went home. i learned a lot of things from this trip like the trick really is to die(symbolically) before you die(physically), and the ego death experience doesn't have to consist of pain and suffering as long as you accept what's happening at each and every moment. sorry if this sounds weird i just had to get this off my chest. peace

interesting replies.
sometimes when im really stoned i can close my eyes and FEEL like i am one with everything. I know its different and way more intense with ego loss, but i can actually feel where mind and body merge into one huge infinite fabric.. im not sure if its similar or not, but this sort of thing doesnt really scare me?
astral projection scared me more than anything

Interesting. While practicing a form of meditation I developed for myself, I experienced the same thing, without the use of drugs. However, I was unable to move, and the feeling quickly faded as a result of a muscle in my leg twitching.
I did, however, perceive myself as a tiny being, of what form I have no idea, perched upon my forehead, looking down my relaxed body. The feeling was one I've never experienced again, despite numerous attempts.

Ask someone what color it is. Its not going to be just one color most of the time. but it usually is predominantly one color. You should also learn to see auras, practice gazing (unfocused) slightly above the heads of energetic people in near darkness. That will be the easiest way for you to see them obviously. Power plants help tremendously with this, but are not necessary.

you could get a book from the library and they usually have some sort of test in it.
i found mine out because this woman saw mine.
equilibrium, if you are a blue aura (for the most part), how was ego-loss to you? did oyu feel like it was different then most other people's experience?

I cant say because I don't really know what other people experience... I know that I am not as afraid of the unknown as some people. I am also prone to indulging in visions and meanings more then I probably should.

This aura thing sounds really cool, I'd like for someone to see mine. I'll do some further reading, if you have any recommended e books or links on the subject, I'd be much obliged.
Tell me this, does the type of person influence the color of the aura? I gathered as much from earlier posts, but I don't want to jump to conclusions.

Its actually the other way around
The different colored auras reflect different properties of thought, how you think/feel. what you relate to (physical/emotional and so on). Keep in mind though that the aura can change, an can involve multiple colors, however, it primarily is one color (mine is blue, which is rare for a guy. it means i think very abstractly.. and i think in feelings rather than congruent thoughts). this makes sense too... i just dont understand sports and other very logical things, they simply dont make sense to me that may sound stupid to you, but honestly, none of it ever clicks because i havent gotten good enough at organizing. on the other hand, i can really pick up on peoples emotions. i can look at someone and instantly FEEL what they are feeling. often times i will say something like "so.. why are you (so and so)" and people will be like 'how the FUCK did you know that??"
i dunno, its kinda cool, and its hard not to really get sports like most other guys.
anyway, you can also see auras if you astrally project and look in a mirror.
I read this AWESOME book at borders, i forgot what it was called, but if you searhc im sure youll find it. on the cover it had a triangle, and it was filled with a head for each color of the auras. there were no faces, just outlines. it was a smaller book, not 8.5x11 sized.

Too bad you can't experience ego death because of your "blue aura," that's a real sad story, man.

How do I do this, EquilibriuM? Is there a formal name for it that I can research online? Does it really work? Lastly.. this isn't kundalini practices right? I have read about kundalini awakenings, and I am definitely not ready/interested in that.. thats too powerful and intense for me.
As a sidenote, have you ever experienced what im talking about above? can you relate at all or no? Thanks

yeah, sorry.... I'm really hungover today, partied all day long at the river yesterday, lots of fun.... but I'm paying for it now.
Basic chakra meditation involves shutting off your internal dialog and focusing on opening your chakra systems, removing blockages, etc... Starting with the root and working your way up to the crown.
Here is a chakra test that can give you a basic idea of what you need to work on.
http://www.eclecticenergies.com/chakras/chakratest.php
Also, that site has some good information about simple meditations used in opening/balancing chakras....
good luck.
