what are the distinguishing features of a san pedro?

How could I test a cactus to see if it is?

Use a description. There is no easy way to "test" if it's a San Pedro.
If you don't find a description in the net, what I doubt, there is always someone that can post one here.

E. g. look here

I can't believe how little people look for information sometimes...the very first thread in this forum is about this exact same topic....

sorry to be a dick about it though...i had this same question a few days ago and couldn't find anything in the search engine.

Anyhow, for all you concerns, check this thread...
