Long time from inoculation to birthing

It's been over a month since I've knocked these colonized jars up. It's standard PF jars with BRF
There doesn't appear to be any foul smell or colors(outside of mushroom forest type smells) and there's a bit of moisture inside of the jars.
Are there any concerns (outside of cold shock/dunk) that I should have when getting these out of their jars?

A month is pretty average, especially if you are not incubating or using the taller 1/2 pint jars. Cold shocking is a myth, but you should dunk for at least 12 hours, then roll and double-end case in vermiculite. GL.

or crumble thm up and make several casings. cakes are neat looking and all but i just find they are inefficient in a tub. plus al lthat rolling and double end casing you might as well just case the bugger if you use a thin case you can just crumblea few toss em in the pan stick on the caseing and toss in the FC. the myc continuse to grow for a few days expecially if you have some vigorous growth and it end up pretty perfect by the time it pins.

I read a casing tek last week I think. One mentioned sterilization
Is it completely necessary? Or is it a case of work as sterile as possible without a hood?
