Drying 'Em Out!!!

I have some shrooms ready to dry, and I read a little piece about just covering them with a black tshirt and drying them under a light bulb for a day.... does this work and will it decrease the potency???

Heat could be a loss of potency , pretty sure it cant be a standard light bulb either, could be wrong. fan drying is alot easier , maybey check into cylica crystals at the craft store . place a screen above the crystals in air tight container ..

Use a small fan instead of the light. Works wonders in just 12-24 hours.

When we pick liberty caps away from home in Wales (country in West of UK), we dry them under lamps on aluminium foil for lack of fans/dessicant. It works ok, I cant really notice potency loss.

However, the only reason we do this with Lib. Caps is because you can pick them in their thousands, and we are away from home, we always dry using a fan then dessicant with home cultivated mushrooms.

You're talking about are good old friend Moe Howards tek. Yes, it works wonders, but make sure you're not getting the shrooms too hot. They dry fast and there is so noticable loss of potency.
