I need to update this list. I'm at work right now, but when I get home, I probably will.

YOu should checkout the new Interchill album by Ashtech, very very dubby. It's excellent. Real bass too.

Does anybody here listen to Ulrich Schnauss? This music really fills the atmosphere. If you're tripping or meditating, it can really carry you away. It makes me feel like I'm in the 1970s too. He has so many great songs, but here are some of my favorites:
Gone Forever Blumenthal Crazy For You

Maybe someone mentioned this (didnt read all the posts, the thread's too long), but what about Aphex Twin and Brian Eno? Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works Volume 2 is a masterpiece. Brian Eno is the godfather of ambient music. Music for Airports is gorgeous. As for minimalist ambient, also check out William Basinski, his tape loops are hypnotic.

Whoa, such an overwhelmingly large list I don't even know where to being! Could anyone possibly recommend something along the lines of Phutureprimitive/Entheogenic/'Are You Shpongled?', y'know, natural ethnic percussion and beats, mid-tempo adventurous psybient that only psychedelic drugs can create.

I just listened to his Double LP on a train trip across the NW USA, I want to know how he gets those "See you on the Way" vocals... Awesome.
