Our minds and ideas can evolve far faster than we can biologically

perhaps faster but not completely, evolution will still continue, this is not our most advanced form

our reptilian brain has changed very little through evolution but the other parts of our brain have grown drastically through the course of evolution. Scientist believe this occurred either to increase our ability to make tools or for social reasons. If this progress continues future humans will be taller/slimmer,less hairy and far more intelligent beings kinda reminds you of

perhaps eventually we will evolve far past homo sapiens and into something greater

Maybe those arent really Aliens,
maybe they are evolved humans that discovered time travel.

We'll evolve into sentient jello molds... then into hovering brains... and then into flowers that dance when music is playing.

The flowers need a root substrate--I'd guess they will spring forth from sentient jello mold brains.  If you're on the savannah, you'd need those flowers for shade to cool your brainmold.  It's simple evolutionary sense.  :sun:

Are these flowers smokable?

The flowers will secrete n,n-dimethyltryptamine which is leeched from the brain mold substrate. It will crystallize along the stems and be available to be harvested and smoked.

This will become an integral part of human social interaction, much the way apes groom one another, highly evolved humans will congregate and gather DMT from one another's dancing brain flowers.

The fuck you talking about, dude?

"If this process continues,"

you make it seem like we're collectively evolving, evolution is a long random action that occurs on an individual basis and depending on the successes of that mutated organism (degree of reproduction), can transfer to a greater population down the line... perhaps.

"Taller/slimmer,"

Yeah I'm not seeing any indication of this. Nor do I see the scientific merit behind how this and the "reptilian" brain theory correlate to this conclusion.

If you haven't noticed the magnitude of genetic diversity within the human species, well, you should.

Perhaps our successes can be attributed to this said variability and its consequent "mastery" of the environment in which it developed.

Unless we selectively breed, there will be short, there will be tall, and there will be the "in between."

"More intelligent,"

Hmmm... HHHMMMMMMM.

If society were to continue down this path in which, whether consciously or not, we're basically catering to biological drives in the most enjoyable fashion, and obscuring the importance of personal intellectual pursuits, subjective/abstract thinking and over-all curiousity; it's doubtful the populace majority will be getting smarter.

I've got the solution, too, biologically adept women should breed with me, and we can selectively propagate the resulting generation.

Eventually arriving at a darker version of the Ubeurmaensch!

From what little I can remember new and unusual traits show up in populations over large periods of time, some traits persist while others vanish, the persistant traits that develop and dont perish eventually become the population
Is it illogical to presume what has happened will continue to happen...ape became ape/man which becam man which could become man/______? if we were to fast foward 100 million years in the future and look at present day humans would our body and mind would be unchanged? history has show otherwise..... Im simply inferring and asking if how we have changed could be a window for how we will change

you sound like you know much more on evolution than me so fill me in

you dont see how through the corse of evolution we have grown more upright and could continue?.....
I brought in the reptiailian brain to illustrate that we are still animals, young animals at that our brains havent changed substantially in something like 100 or 200 thousand years and the progress of our brain will be less animal like and more logical...

Could evolution continue as it has? I kinda create my own theories so i dont know.....whats the truth? or most logical answer?

Bigger brains, less hair, no wisdom teeth, no appendix.
