Mycelium piss

Im trying to work ou what causes this - i have four jars fully colonised - two have yellow mycelium piss around the areas where the myc. has come in contact with water, and two have no signs at all of myc. piss?? Any suggestions??

How dark yellow is the "piss"? If it's only slightly yellowy coloured then it could just be caused by moisture discolouring the mycelium. I've seen rice coloured and yellowish mycelium before. On the other hand, if it's very dark yellow, then you might be better just chucking the lot...

You say moisture may cause this yellowing..
excess of moisture i assume?
i have a humidity guage that is locked at 90%. ithink its just old. its a BONNAIR device. runs on a single AAA battery i think

Slight yellowing - if it is bright yellow like this stuff was, it wasnt myc. piss
