Ok i've found this awesome website with around 120 pictures of the film. It's done using computer graphics and is totally sweet, here check it out.

I seriously need to buy this on dvd. Great graphics, and a storyline that can have your emotions entangled in it over night.

I just saw this a couple days ago for the first time. It was alright... I have to agree with Liz though, it was really cheesy. It's hard to take this movie seriously. They didn't even try to make the fight scenes realistic. But there are some pretty funny LOL moments, especially if you remember the original game story. The animation is incredible though and that's the real reason to see this movie.

I watched this a long time ago with an english translation patch on computer, they should have made a series out of it.

Apparently you've never even played Final Fantasy VII...

Warning spoilers
This movie was crap, sorry to say. They just threw in the characters at random, as if to say: "Hey, here's Yuffie, Barret, Cid, Cait Sith, etc. Then BAM here's Sepheroth and 4 mintutes later he's defeated. Definitely needs a lot more story to go with it. I was thoroughly disappointed.

This is immediately what I had though.
I love how the movie played true to the game. The super-impossible-gravity-defying attacks were beauty. No one said it was supposed to be anything else. Square designed this as they had intended. People from a different sort of audience can interpret this any way they please, but I thought that the movie was awesome.
I caught my stepdad watching this at 1am on his HDTV. The bastard. I've seen the one with subs on my computer, but I wanna watch it in hi-def. Too bad it was a one-night rental and I was too spent to stay up.

FACT: watching this movie with english dubs is a BIG mistake! Japanese + subtitles is the way to go. Trust me on that one.
Yes, the movie is cheezy. But that is not the reason to watch it. You're mostly watching for the graphics and character design n such...oh yeah, and hardcore anti-gravity action scenes.

I have it on my computer with 3 translations and bought the English Dub, though I usually watch it in Japanese with subs.

And that motorcycle, I really want to make that a project, to drive a bike that looked like that would be oh so sexy.
