* Habitat - Southwest Arkansas - Rainy weather recently - Mostly warm to hot on normal days - Growing on the ground in yard (grassy, moist from rain) * Characteristics of the gills - See pictures * Characteristics of the stem - See pictures * Characteristics of the cap - See pictures * Spore print color - Sorry, didn't have time to collect a spore print * Color that the mushroom bruises - Did not test * Scent of the mushroom - Did not smell
The mushrooms with rounded caps had white gills.
Sorry for the lack of details, I was in a hurry after I mowed the yard today. I hope the pictures make up for the lack of detail in words!
Thanks for the help,
Images are quite large, some over 1MB. I wanted to get quality images for ID's.

First off, great pictures and I appreciate the attempt at a description. Although, it is nice to have both the pics and the verbal description. Specifically in this case, knowing whether the gills are attached or not would be key. They look attached in the pics, but I've been fooled before.
I would guess that your mushrooms are some type of Stropharia species. Not active, not likely edible. I don't have a ton of experience with this genus though, so I could be mistaken. However the attached gills, presence of the veil and gill color point in that direction. In any case, it does not look like something you'd want to eat for any reason, and they look too dried out to taste very good anyway.
It will be interesting to see what a mod thinks about your mushies.

Looks like Agrocybe to me too. Not anything active or that you would want to consider eating.
