Slow Growth?

I currently have 5 cakes setup in my fruiting chamber, two of the cakes have like 1 small pin on them, and the other 3 cakes just show signs of primordia. Problem is the pin on the 2 cakes are growing very very slow. My fruiting chamber temps are between 72-77 F , perlite humidification ( humidity is fine , very high), and I have a light source 12/12 lighting/. What could be the problem to this, I finished my last flush with my grain cake in the same fruiting chamber and it grew full shrooms in a couple days.

I have some strains that will take super long to grow.
Exact same conditions and one takes a couple of days and the other takes over a week.
what strain are you using?
how about FAE??

ive always had slow growing mushrooms when my humidity is too high (near 100%) but you didnt mention whether or not your cakes are rolled in anything.. i'd also advise less light

..what flush are they....if therelike 2-3rd .then that might occur. did you dunk the cakes before and after flushing ..that usually help with large fruits/.cuz ther more water to retain since having the first flush exauhsted and lil dry?.but if its a brand new cake .. some times it just takes longer ..there growing arent they..so let them be..you gotta take consideration that you are engineering mother earth which is totally random and un predictable.,but alwayz reliable.LOl give it time...are you using a PMP?

How long should I dunk them for? dunk the ones with pins too? I fan the fruiting chamber frequently throughout the day.

you dunk for like 18-24 hours... but if you already have pinning you shoold wait ...let them flush then dunnk them ...DUnk before you put in pmp and dunk them after your initial flushes..>and makesure you dunk and ROLL your cake in vermiculite...to hold the moisture...make sure you fan and have a bottle sray filled with 15 peroxide and the rest with water....so when you fan you can punp a few sprays to clean the air inside andkeep the baddies out.lol

do not dunk cakes with pins on them.
let them flush and dunk and roll after the flush.

ummmm if they have pins then dont dunk them just let them fruit and dunk them after harvest .....if you dunked them now you might have a chance of rupturing the pins..

when you dunk make sure you use 10 percent of peroxide the 90 percent of water so you can have a safe dunk with out bacteria.if you got those chinese plastic container ...that you get when you buy wonton soup or eggdrop soup. that work the best..the small one Pint i think it is is the best for cakes.lol rememeber to roll in some vermiculit top and bottom..make sure you get enuff lighting on top of your tub ..cuz your fruits will grow toward the light.
