This should be a good starting point for the bicolor: http://monkeyfrogs.com/species.shtml the Colorado river toad will be much tougher to find.

There is a reptile classified site that exchanges every type of herp. that is legal to own in the US. Someone posted the link here once, but I couldn't find it. I'm not sure of the name of the site, but I think it was Reptile King, or something like that. Do a search on that.

a few years back hightimes featured a toad that was psycoactive. I would like to learn more about these toads, i know you have to extract the secretions. I would love to raise a few, im really good with frogs such as dart frogs and mantellas, and these can be hard to keep.

I'd like to have pet bufos, not to milk them mind you.Thats A.Really cruel, and B.Unneccasary since 5meodmt is legally ordered, and bufotenine is reported more as a neurotoxic then a psychedelic.I could never find info on caring for them, and I wouldn't want to subject them to my amauterish attempts to care for them if I had no info on what they ate, habitat, etc.

bufo marinus venom does contain small amounts of 5-MeO-DMT however it also contains verry high levels of steroids wich (reportedly) cause very painfull cramps. most resources state that bufo alvarius is restricted to the sonoran desert/colorado river region but in the last 10-15 years it has extended it's range to every area that is accessable by water and doesn't have extreme winters. i have seen them as far north as Reding Ca. it should be noted that they are technicaly endangered in california. i hope that helps someone.
-------------------- Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.
