Damn Bom, way to go with two nice tats in a row. I loved your last one...this one's just fucking magical.

I want a tattoo so badly, just trying to figure out WHAT!

I just got it done yesterday.  See how it's all shiny and gooey looking?  It's still healing.

I wish I had some better pictures.  I will as it heals up more...  Just wanted to share.

OMR, it hurt like a motherfucker. I find breathing properly helps distribute the sensation better. It probably hurt the most out of all the work I've had done. It's also the biggest one, we did it all in one sitting. About 2 hours.

And I make threads...I've just been on hiatus.

I'm a real wimp when it comes to physical pain. (Emotional pain...fuck, that's just life.) But physical pain, oy, I am truly a bitch about it. I know when I finally get tattooed I'm gonna whiiiiiine. But then I'll love it in the end. But what to get?!

Man I have to show these pics of your tattoo to so many people I know who would appreciate it. Who designed it?

I'm never getting a tattoo because I don't know much about permanence.

Are you getting any more tattoos?

I have thought about getting some Russian lettering on my forearm.

In essence, that's my problem when trying to come up with one.  What's going to be relevant down the line?  I don't know.  The one idea that continually comes back to me is some sort of strange warping of the chemical structure of LSD.  But if I was going to get that, it would be when I was making a decision to longer do that.  And...I'm not prepared to make that decision.

I dunno. I just know I want something. A mark. It seems so raw, and I want it.  I want to mark myself, my skin, my casing.

I did.

I used bits and pieces from other work that I found on the internet. My buddy actually did up the design using my refereces and we did it together.

It funny that you mention the difference between physical pain and emotional pain.

The real reason why I got this tattoo is to help me heal an emotional pain. The star is kind of a symbol for hope, and it's really there so I always have something to wish on. The physical pain that I had to endure is part of the healing. It retracted some emotional stuff and now I have something beautiful to show for it.

Pain is really just healing going on. Physical and emotional...
