Good show as usual. Masters of sound they are, butchering the atmosphere of the spaces in which they play, shredding reality with waves of sonic goodness.

Ever see GYBE? I would love to see THEM live...

Unfortunately no. Missed out on a couple of chances and I'm still kicking myself for it.
I also missed not one not two but three shows in one week by Explosions in the Sky all of which I could have gotten into for free.

This is pretty much my favorite genre at the moment too. Ever since Sigur Ros @ Coachella, I'm hooked on teh epic post-rock (stupid genre name though...but aren't they all?)

Explosions is members of Godspeed right?
I have a few live bootlegs of GYBE and they sound pretty damn good. Even the sound quality isn't amazing, it's still cool to hear them live.
Ever hear Labradford? Some amazing music...along the same lines, a lot more minimal though. Still considered post rock I guess.

Nope heard of but never heard Labradford. Does EIITS have Godspeed members? Would make sense but I didn't know that.
What I love the most about EIITS is the marching band style of the drumming.

That was kind of different. You don't hear too many 10 min instrumentals. Still I liked it though, kinda ambient with a nice vibe to it. I'm no music expert though.

That one I like a bit better, I really liked the organ playing in the background.

I don't think Godspeed does anything stilll and according to Wikipedia Explosions in the Sky doesn't have anything to do with godpseed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Explosions_in_the_Sky
But man I love EIITS, went to sleep listening to them last night.
