mean green on poo

Hey guys...I have a tray of poo (over 10 lbs) that's been colonizing for a couple of weeks. It should have been obvious when one week ago one spot in the center of it refused to colonize. Well I just checked on it and I see the mean green spores covering the center area. Is there anything I can do?

no need to stop with your efforts.
do clean. Clean like a cocaine addict.
leave no stone un cleaned.
bleach kills everything... mold, mildew, spores, mushrooms...

monster mitch...I have a 4 tier greenhouse...I have yielded lots of great cubes so far. Two days ago I got hit. One of the casings got hit with mean green. I immediately removed it. Now...there must be tons of spores in there. I havent added any more trays but I haven't removed the old ones either. So far no signs of any cobweb or anything. What should I do?

No its in my closet. I had no problems with contams since I set it up a couple months ago. I think I introduced the first contam into the greenhouse when I experimented with dunking and scratching. that's it....I deep scratched the shit out of this one casing. THat's the casing that got the green. So it's not the air in the closet. It's the air in the kitchen where i deep scratched...Stupid me...getting lax on the sterility of this hobby. Big no no.
Well...I think I am going to removed all of the casings in the greenhouse and completely douse it with lysol...a couple of times. Let it sit for a few hours and then run the cool mist to get the fumes out...

Are you suggesting that I use straight bleach in a bottle? Or should I make a solution?

I make a solution with 10% bleach and that is probably even overkill.
Lysol will deform mushrooms, keep it away from them. Use alcohol (isopropyl 70%) to wipe down the greenhouse really well.
Once super wiped down with alcohol, do it again.
Clean all of the room/closet around the greenhouse and the other plastic with the bleach. you can even spray the inside of the greenhouse with bleach and then clean twice with alcohol.
This has worked for me in the past every time but it is a lot of scrubbing.
Sterility maintenance is key. Handwashing, no scratching in the kitchen...

lysol is in no way alcohol (isopropyl).
lysol is a petroleum product that causes mutations.

Was he being a dickhead? Oh well. Well I cleaned it and I turned the coolmist back on. Everything should be good. I will know soon. The contam definitely came from the kitchen...my roommates are filthy animals. I will be moving into a studio soon so this wont be a prob. Thanks for all of your help monster...thank you too tamadragon...you shouldnt call people names when you disagree with somebody...ya know?
On a brighter note my friend tried 1.75 dried gram of my last harvest and said they were the most powerful he's ever had. Hooray! It's hard for me to judge because of ssri's that I take....I need like an eigth to get lit.

screw em, the filthy pricks.
I really wish you success, the green monster is a true enemy.
